“Wake him up,” Lin Feng said, smiling and throwing the blade of grass away. It instantly rotted in the poison on the ground. Kun slapped the man’s face, and he came back to his senses. His eyes looked empty. He didn’t feel like playing around anymore.
“You don’t need to hide the truth from us. As long as you don’t reveal your Master’s identity, he won’t blame you,” Lin Feng conjectured, trying to use psychology to make the man speak.
The man looked at Lin Feng. When he saw Lin Feng had gotten rid of the blade of grass, he was relieved, and looked thoughtful. Lin Feng continued, “Just tell us about Yuan Feng.”
“Alright, I’ll speak,” said the man, nodding grimly. He didn’t want to be tortured anymore. He didn’t mind being crushed, but being tickled had been nightmarish!
“Did Yuan Feng really betray us?” asked Zi Jing Xiao.
The man nodded hesitantly. He couldn’t hide the truth anymore. Actually, Yuan Feng should die. It didn’t matter whether he killed him himself or if Lin Feng and the others killed him themselves. It was all the same.
He was a traitor. Traitors didn’t deserve to live! Lin Feng didn’t intend to let him off, no matter what!
Zi Jing Xiao’s expression darkened. He glanced at Lin Feng and felt guilty. He had gotten angry at both Lin Feng and Yuan Feng during the trip to Ju Valley but if he had known, he would have handled the situation differently.
A traitor deserved to die!
“Why did he betray us?” asked Chu Chun Qiu. He probably had a good reason to betray them.
“I can’t tell you. I can just tell you that the Yuan Hall wants to collaborate with us, so he naturally turned against you. It was a logical decision,” said the man, shaking. He hoped Lin Feng and the others would let him off after that.
“I see, fuck,” spat Chu Chun Qiu. He hated traitors more than anything, especially when they were that shameless and despicable. On top of that, he had ambushed Lin Feng!
“I said everything you wanted to know. Can I leave now?” asked the man.
Zi Jing Xiao grinned icily and mockingly, “Leave? You’re naive. You thought we were going to let you leave?”
“You won’t? To be honest, I am not the only one in the Ju Space. If they can’t find me, they will rely on Qi traces to find me, and then you’ll all be in danger. Hehe. Therefore, you better let me go,” the man threatened them. Nobody knew if it was true or not.
When Lin Feng, Zi Jing Xiao, and Zhao Ming Jun heard that, they all smiled in amusement. They didn’t care whether he was telling the truth or not. No matter what, they didn’t fear the men in black!
Lin Feng, Zi Jing Xiao, Zhao Ming Jun, Hun Cang, Chu Chun Qiu, Jia Li Ya and Qing Ling Xuan were all there. They were extremely strong together. They could easily defeat one, two or even three men in black.
And this man dared threaten them? Ridiculous!
But Lin Feng thought of a plan. If it worked, they’d easily get out of the Ju Space. Of course, the whole team needed to cooperate…
“You can leave,” Lin Feng said to the man dismissively.
The man looked at Lin Feng skeptically, as did all the others. Zi Jing Xiao, Chu Chun Qiu, and the others’ expressions changed drastically.
Hun Cang looked at Lin Feng suspiciously, “What? Are you a traitor too, Lin Feng?”
“Shut the fuck up! Otherwise, I don’t mind crushing you!” retorted Lin Feng instantly, releasing a terrifying energy. His eyes were filled with killing intent already.
If they didn’t need to work together, Lin Feng would have already killed Hun Cang. Hun Cang was just like Yuan Feng as far as Lin Feng was concerned.
Hun Cang faltered. Lin Feng didn’t give him face at all and disrespected him in front of everybody. Hun Cang clenched his fists and shouted back at Lin Feng, “You want to fight?!”
“Alright, hehe, let’s fight! It’s not as if we had things to do, after all!” Lin Feng didn’t intend to back off. He walked towards Hun Cang, releasing a terrifying demon Qi.
When the man in black saw Lin Feng’s demon Qi, he was startled and almost collapsed again.
“Alright, you two! Stop fighting! We have to cooperate! We have to save Qing Xin Yue!” Zhao Ming Jun shouted at them in annoyance.
Lin Feng glanced at Zhao Ming Jun, turned around and remained silent. Hun Cang didn’t dare contradict Zhao Ming Jun, either.
“Lin Feng, are you sure we should let him go?” asked Qing Ling Xuan calmly. He wanted to save Qing Xin Yue as well. It was a task Qing Xu Duan had given them, so he had to think carefully.
“Stop asking questions. Listen to me and trust me,” Lin Feng said to everybody telepathically. Everybody nodded and suddenly looked determined.
When Zi Jing Xiao saw how determined and serious Lin Feng looked, he realized Lin Feng might really have a plan. It was the first time he had seen Lin Feng look so determined.
Zhao Ming Jun, Qing Ling Xuan, Jia Li Ya, and everybody else thought the same. Chu Chun Qiu stopped talking; he knew Lin Feng, so he trusted him this time.
“You can leave,” Zhao Ming Jun told the man helplessly.
The man was overjoyed. He didn’t think too much about it. He was convinced threatening them had worked.
“Haha! Good choice! Don’t worry, I wasn’t strong enough today, but I won’t seek revenge.
“But you, Lin Feng; we are now sworn enemies. Remember my name; I’m Tan Zhe! If I survive, I will always do my best to kill you. Just wait and see!” shouted Tan Zhe. He wanted to dismember Lin Feng and destroy him, but he wasn’t strong enough to do that.
The man rose into the air; he had no legs, but he could still fly, and he was still quite fast, too. He had also regained some pure Qi too while talking. Of course, he had only recovered thirty percent of his full amount.
Lin Feng watched him disappear. Tan Zhe’s Qi was fleeing quickly.
After a short time, Lin Feng turned around and said to everybody, “Let’s chase him. When he recovers his Qi, he will release teleportation Qi again, and when he does, we need to rush and flash into it to go back.”
“Haha! That was your plan! I guessed right!” exclaimed Kun, laughing loudly. He had had the same idea.
Zi Jing Xiao glanced at Kun angrily, so Kun instantly stopped laughing. He felt guilty and awkward for misbehaving in front of his master.
Zhao Ming Jun had thought of that too, but he wasn’t sure that was Lin Feng’s plan before.
“There’s no time to lose. Let’s hurry and catch up with him,” said Zhao Ming Jun. He flashed after the man. Hun Cang and everybody else followed Zhao Ming Jun.
Lin Feng took a deep breath and caught up with them. Very quickly, they were all on the hunt.
Half an hour later, eight hundred li away…
Tan Zhe finally stopped. He glanced around and took a deep breath. Finally, he was going to leave the Ju Space. He would never forget this place.
He raised his hands and teleportation strength appeared, turning into a teleportation gate. When he saw the gate, he was overjoyed. This time, nobody would prevent him from leaving.
He could leave in peace!
“Tan Zhe, thank you for leading the way, we’re off. Haha!”
Tan Zhe suddenly heard Lin Feng’s voice and paled. He sensed a terrifying strength and was swept away. By the time he stood back up, the others had already disappeared.
“Lin Feng, I refuse to live under the same sky as you!” shouted Tan Zhe furiously. The Ju Space started trembling.
Lin Feng and the others were back in Ju Valley. Even though it was dark, it was much better than the Ju Space.
